10 Advanced Google Commands For SEO

 

1. The Site:URL command

This command will show the website pages that are indexed by Google. So if you want to check that without using advanced tools, then this handy Google command will be best for you. You can use this site by typing Site:www.yourwebsite.com in the search bar. 

2. allinurl:keyword

This command is used to find out the URLs that contain the specific keyword(s). So you have to type allinurl: followed by your search term, such as allinurl: keyword. If you want to use multiple keywords, then separate them with space. It can be extremely helpful to determine your competitors on specific keywords. 

3. allintitle:keyword

It works just like allinurl: command which will show the website pages with specific keyword(s) that are contained in the title tag. For example, allintitle: keyword. Again, this can also be useful to find out your online competition for specific keywords.

4. allintext:keyword

It works just like two other Google commands- allintitle: and allinurl: and displays the search results that contain the particular keyword(s) or phrases in the text. This is useful to determine the duplicate content. 

5. allinanchor:keyword

This command will display all the results that contain the specific keyword(s) wrapped in the anchor text. It helps find the backlinks of your competitors on particular keywords. 

6. cache:URL

This is used to know the date when the search engine crawler last visited your website and cached it. It helps you track the time interval when crawlers visit your site. The command is very useful for link building as you can find the sites that are cached more often. If a site is not cached frequently, there is no use of building a link on that website because it will not be indexed.

7. "Keyword" site:"URL"

Do you want to limit your Google search to the content of a particular website? If so, this command will do the trick for you. Just place your keyword followed by the command site: and the website domain. You will see all the results from that website containing that particular keyword. 

8. related:Keyword

This command helps you determine all the websites that are competing for a particular keyword. For example, "related:SEO", will display the results for websites that are related to the keyword SEO. 

9. info:URL

This command will show specific data about a website. It includes Google’s cache of that website, similar sites, web pages of that website, and the list of other websites that contain your domain name.

10. link:URL

This command shows the results of web pages that are pointing to the specific URL mentioned in the query. It is useful to determine all the links to your website. Also, it is an easy way to check the backlinks of your competitor’s website.
